Mission

The mission of Ascendant is to be a profitable natural resource company, benefiting all stakeholders including shareholders, community residents and the Republic of Ecuador. This mission embodies the highest standards of social, environmental and industrial practices. Ascendant has applied for and been formally accepted by the United Nations as a participant of the U.N. Global Compact. The Global Compact articulates internationally-recognized standards regarding human and labor rights, environmental sustainability, and anti-corruption. Ascendant embraces and actively promotes these important standards.
